The absence of external windows does however impact on the overall lighting within the rooms. Guests generally appreciate the romantic and sensual lighting we have provided within the riad, but we have had feedback from a few who found it difficult in some bathrooms to apply make-up, or to read at night. Bathrooms have had additional corner uplights added, with directional spotlights in strategic places.

Although the whole project took a lot of work and created significant upheaval (see left!) we are delighted with the results and we are sure all our future guests will appreciate the results.
Our next project involves an upgrade to the recessed lighting along the staircase
